I’ve learned Bonebreaking from different sources and Shaype has got to be one of the best as far as teaching goes. Shaype goes very detailed into stretching and is always genuinely rooting for you and how you will integrate the flexibility into your own unique dance style. Also, being that Bonebreaking is still a male-dominated art form, it’s nice to have someone to exchange with on how this may differ on the female or non-binary body. It’s a style that is still being developed and I am honored to learn and collaborate with someone who has contributed so much toward it’s evolution.

Taking private classes with Ryoga is the best thing I could have ever done for my tutting! He has so much knowledge and wisdom to pass down to any dancer who would like to upgrade their tutting skills. I loved listening to Ryoga speak about his techniques and practices. Learning from someone with so much passion for their craft is the best thing you could do for yours.
As a fairly experienced tutter, I was excited to take a lesson from Shaype. She taught me so much in just an hour and gave me tons of concepts to work on from labbing body rolls to split time concepts. She has high level tutting theory ready to be taught. 11/10 would recommend her lessons.

Ryoga has tutorial videos on instagram, but online classes give you much more details where you can understand more. Even when you think you can't do that combo when you see it the first time, you'll understand very well at the end of class.

Ryoga teaches very original ideas in a simple and unexpected way that is easy to understand and absorb. Every skill Ryoga does is at a high level, and all of his gimmicks are comfortable to do, so you can enjoy them while you learn.
